KALAMARIA, THESSALONIKI
A proper greengrocer, coffee made to order, and the neighbourhood mini market.
Open from 7 in the morning until 11 at night. Fruit and vegetables picked one by one, a coffee counter for the walk to work, and everything a household needs, from fresh milk to firewood.
WHAT OLIMERI IS
THREE SHOPS IN ONE, ON THE SAME CORNER
Oliméri started as a greengrocer and turned into the thing the neighbourhood was missing. Under one roof you get fruit and vegetables picked one by one every morning, a coffee counter running from first light, and a mini market stocked for everyday life. These are not three separate businesses sharing a door. It is one shop built on the understanding that the morning produce run, the coffee on the way to work and the thing you forgot at eleven at night are the same need at three different hours.
The difference shows in the produce. Fruit and vegetables arrive fresh and get checked before they reach the counter, which is why customers write about the selection again and again. Next to that, coffee is pulled on the machine rather than dispensed by an automat, and the shelves behind carry what actually keeps a household going: milk, cheese and cold cuts, detergents, nappies, wine, and firewood through the winter.
The business is family run and the space is spotless, two things that come up in review after review. There is outdoor seating as well, for anyone who would rather drink their coffee here than carry it away.
GREENGROCER
Fruit and vegetables sorted daily, seasonal, and checked before they go out on the counter.
COFFEE
A barista counter from early morning, to take away or to drink at the tables outside.
MINI MARKET
Everyday household shopping, from fresh milk and cheese to wine, detergents and firewood.
INSIDE THE SHOP
The coffee counter, the aisles, the fridges and the people behind the till. Real photographs of the shop, not stock images.

“This is what the area needed! A shop for every hour of the day, from the household shopping to enjoying your coffee. Polite and quick staff.”
Maria Manousaroglou, Google review, translated from Greek
